In a circle
That sees no end
What seems eternity
Isn’t at all real
The rope of hope
Those tiny little strings
They divide the truth
From the world unreal
The laughter, the cheers
Can be melancholic at times
When you realize the future
What you have today can be gone
The truth that pain
The reality wide open
What’s there left of make-believe tales
When you and I would soon vanish?
So they thought all is real
Yes it is!
Now, but not forever
For a moment and only half of it
What’s the other half then?
If we have to live to the fullest
Why not embrace it all
Think of the pleasure
The truth is
We are but travelers
Bound to a destination
Bound to an eternal fate
Along the stop-overs
Are pretty good things
That can drive us back
They can hold us back
